Amazon is now putting a note with books that have a deckled edge. Some commentary and a poll about deckle edge on books.

They do that deliberately now?

Interesting.

It can be a good thing on a book that is trying to portray itself as a period piece or if it is real because of it being an old or handmade book.
Bit of an affectation otherwise though. It's good it seems to say when the book has this though.

I just thought the publishing company was just using a less expensive grade of paper!
