Landlord (D) asks Tenant (R) to remove McCain sign!

A landlord in St. Petersburg asked his tenant to remove his McCain sign becuase he did not want it on his property.

The landlord and tenant had a discussion and resolved it in a civil manner.

What happened was the McCain supporter took over a neighboring yard that had nothing to do with the dispute and that he had no business being on, placed his sign there, declared victory, and scouted other lawns for sign implantation.

Thanks for finding that. I did see a few things in my Factiva about Tavis Smiley's show with Ms. Ifill, but none actually mentioned her book. Odd that Fox was one of the places that I didn't look.

Now it is clear that it was indeed know for quite some time. My original search did not find that, thanks for the excellent research - you must be a librarian.
