Signatures are piling up on petitions to stop the Seminole County Public Library system from being turned over to a private company.
At the start of June the Seminole County government asked for estimates on what it would cost for a private company to run the system — taking employees and customers of the publicly funded library off guard.
Stop the privatization
We have all seen what happens when we “privatize”. It starts out affordable & then everything sky rockets! Look at what has happened to our economy over the recent years because we were under an administration who believed in & pushed privatization. We need to learn from our mistakes and this would be a big one if they follow through with going private.
