LAWRENCEVILLE -- To offset projected budget cuts, the Gwinnett County Public Library system has plans to reduce its hours, changing some of the open and closing times for locations.
#Beginning Oct. 23, the 15-branch system will use the "buddy branch model" in order to keep locations open seven days a week.
#Weekend hours will remain consistent at all locations. On Friday, branches will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Locations will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
