Netflix Comes to the iPhone and iPod Touch

You can watch it on your computer or television. Now you can watch it on your iPhone too.

Netflix announced Thursday the release of a free Netflix application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that allows streaming of movies over Wi-Fi or a 3G cellphone connection.

The app, which had been expected since April, helps with Netflix’s attempt to become ubiquitous with its streaming offerings.

so if I don't have unlimited bandwidth, it costs me $41

to watch a movie.

I'd rather go to Redbox, rip the movie, and watch it whenever I want without any additional cost.

Nice one Netflix. I just bought an unlocked iphone 4 and I can't wait to install Netflix on it. I have a lot of movies to watch on my queue.

Just tried it

I have an iPod Touch. I just downloaded the app, logged into my Netflix account, and was watching a movie in a matter of moments. Pretty slick.
