Microsoft says it has permission to scan and display books from publishers like McGraw-Hill, MIT Press, Oxford University Press, Simon & Schuster and more.

There are some interesting aspects to this expansion of Live Book Search--but, you know, Google Book Search offers actual content previews from in-copyright books provided by publishers, where it has permission to do so, and always has...

This particular distinction isn't.
