Comments from participants
Professor Ale Smidts, Scientific Director of ERIM, the Erasmus Research Institute of Management states “Bettina Wittneben [winner of the ODRA in Management and Governance category] is a talented young researcher and we are very proud to have her as a member of our institute. The study she has conducted is significant and the calibre of this research and its recognition by Emerald/EFMD represents another great contribution by a member of our faculty towards advancing business and management knowledge – the primary ambition of all the research conducted at ERIM.”
“I am delighted at this recognition of my research as being of exceptionally high quality and worthy of a Highly Commended Award [in the Knowledge Management category] by the awards panel. Having completed my applied and practice-relevant management research while being the Chief Knowledge Officer of Israel Aerospace Industries, shows that action research can nonetheless achieve recognition for high scholarly quality. My award reflects well on the quality of the guidance of my supervisor, Prof. Stephen Evans and of Cranfield University which has consistently been a bridge between Academy and Industry.”
Dr Rony Dayan, Cranfield University.
