Cambridge undergrads long fantasized about a stash of pornography lurking on a set of closed shelves in the library's tower.

Stephen Fry even wrote a book about it.

Alas, as with many things in real life, it turns out the truth is far more prosaic than many would like to believe. Recently, the university disclosed the contents of the collection because they are in the process of putting all the titles online.

There's good news though. According to the the tower's manager, there's plenty of more recent pornography in the library's collection.
