Retirement

I'm sure those of you new to your careers don't want to think retirement, but it's never too early. We sat down with our SIL yesterday to try to figure out a Universal Life policy we took out in the 1980s. Boy! Were we dumb. In our defense, I'll just say you have so many more options today than we had then. No one needs to be unprepared.

So did anyone see the story about the homeless women in Santa Barbara sleeping in their cars? I blogged about that today.

What's different? Has Blake redecorated again?

one thing

Norma,

I agree that Santa Barbara is a bad spot for an older, single woman with very little money.

But it costs a lot to move. That's usually why poor folk can't just pick up and leave and go somewhere better.
