Obama blogger sues publishers because Bible offends him.

Bradley Fowler, an apparently censored Obama blogger (self censored perhaps as posts have been removed) is suing publishers because the Bible offends him.

Fowler, a convicted felon and identity thief is suing Thomas Nelson Publshing and Zondervan. The suits seek 10 and 60 million dollars respectively

Fowler also asked the court to appoint counsel as he is destitute and acting in pro per. Those motions may be found here and here

Fowler is apparently upset that inclusion of the term homosexual in some editions of the Bible, and the exclusion of the term in other editions has caused him irreparable harm and his failure to have his membership application to the Detroit Grand Lodge of the Masons approved.

(Of course this does not reflect on the Honorable senator, but it is a bit amusing)

I am always surprised that

I am always surprised that the bible doesn't get brough up in court in the US more often, especially when to comes to banned books and anyone railing against education sex books, or anything to do with drugs etc.
